About my work
Growing up bodysurfing in Hermosa Beach, I’ve always been captivated by the endless variety of waves our little town delivers. Inspired by legendary shorebreak photographer Clark Little (right), I picked up a camera and water housing at 17, and shooting waves has been my creative outlet ever since. From glassy sunset peelers to heavy winter closeouts, no two waves are ever the same.
Hermosa Wave Gallery is my way of sharing that perspective with the community that shaped me. Every image in this collection reflects a moment of the ocean we all cherish, now available in a range of formats to bring a piece of Hermosa’s beauty into your home. My hope is for these photographs to inspire the same sense of awe and connection to the water that inspired me to capture them - Eric Horne.
